Indic Academy pleased to continue its scholarship scheme for the next round of online workshops being conducted by The Himalayan Writing Retreat this April.
The Himalayan Writing Retreat (HWR) is probably India’s best known learning centre when it comes to writing.
The three day “Lockdown writing workshop” is designed to help people learn writing through the lockdown. The “Write Books for Children’s – Masterclass with Mariam” is a specialist class for writing books for kids. And the “Emotional well-being through writing” is a way to use writing to de-stress and work through the enxiety such difficult timed bring along.
With the above workshops, the Himalayan Writing Retreat is offering its highly rated programs online. These workshops are not a bunch of recorded videos. These are all workshops with small groups of 10 people working together. Each workshop is live & interactive – with lots of writing, sharing & feedback.

Indic academy will sponsor deserving candidates to participate in the above three workshops. The selected Candidates will need to share the Indic Pledge https://www.indictoday.com/grants/indic-pledge/ on their social media timelines. Further, they need to demonstrate a knowledge and interest in Indic Writing.

To apply for the scholarship, you have to fill out an application form online. Please apply only if you can commit to the time requirements of the selected workshop. There is a lot of competition for these scholarships. Please do not apply if you are not in a position to dedicate yourself 100% to the course. You will only deprive another deserving candidate of this scholarship.
