Self Reflection – An Introduction To The Yogasutra

We continue to look externally for ways to live a meaningful life. But why look outside when you can engage with yourself at a deeper level? The philosophy and pragmatics of yoga as given in the Yogasutra is a complete source of becoming aware of the workings of the mind and body i.e. the self.

The Yogasutra of Patanjali is one of the most influential texts on Yoga ever written. This aphoristic work explains the path of Yoga in a series of concise steps, making it an invaluable work for any sadhaka. Over the millenia, it has been a guide to many in India and in more recent times, it’s fame has spread throughout the world.

Raghu Ananthanarayanan conducted a workshop on the Yogasutras from the 26th to 28th January, 2019 in Pune, which shed light on the path of the Yogasutras.

Indic Academy gave a grant to two students – Mr Anandhu Krishnan and Ms Renuka Joshi, in order to attend the workshop.
