Indic Academy is pleased to extend grants for attending the upcoming Wild 11: 11th World Wilderness Congress, to be held at Jaipur in March 2020. We are happy to support two scholars, by way of grants of ₹ 15,000. The grants are only open to scholars and activists of indigneous environmentalism and sustainability.
Wild 11 is being organized by Government of Rajasthan, Sanctury Nature Foundation, Wilderness Foundation Global, and Wild Foundation, between 19th and 26th March, 2020. There are many Pre and Post Event Sessions starting from 14th March.
The World Wilderness Congress is unique among global environmental events, because it offers the public a chance to influence international conservation priorities. Congress delegates come from all sectors of society, and all corners of the world, to meet and decide upon actions, that help define the wilderness movement for years to come. Applications for the grant should be sent to email@example.com by 7th March, 2020 with Profile/CV and a Statement of Purpose. Selected applicants will have to sign and share the Indic Pledge on Social Media, and write about their experiences and learning at the event for publication on Indic Today, subject to editorial clearance. Only the selected applicants will receive an intimation from us.
