International Sanskrit Computational Linguistics Symposium

Indic Academy is providing a travel grant for one deserving applicant to participate in the sixth International Computational Linguistics Symposium. Previously, Indic Academy announced it’s support for the symposium by way of a grant.

The sixth International Sanskrit Computational Linguistics Symposium (6th ISCLS) is being held at IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal, India during 23-25 October, 2019. This conference builds on the previous five editions at INRIA Paris Rocquencourt (2007), Brown University, USA (2008), University of Hyderabad, India (2009), JNU, Delhi, India (2010) and IIT Bombay (2013) respectively, bringing together the researchers working on different aspects of Sanskrit Computational Linguistics worldwide.

The keynote speakers at the Symposium will be Sri Korada Subrahmanyam of the University of Hyderabad and Sri Rajeev Sangal of IIIT-Hyderabad.
