Project Anuvaada

Indic Academy has earlier established a scheme for perpetuating the memory of venerable academics, artists, activists and authors who have worked for preserving, protecting and promoting our Dharma and are no more with us, by way of organizing memorial lectures.

Upon seeing this announcement, the family of Justice P. Kodadanda Ramayya have come forward with a generous grant of Rs 5 lacs and the scope of grants was also extended to include any form of perpetuating the memory and not just memorial lectures.

Indic Academy is now encouraging all the kin, disciples and intellectuals who were touched by the works of these eminent scholars to also consider utilising the grant and take up translation of their books written in Bharatiya languages into English. We believe there is a vast amount of literature written in the Bharatiya languages that needs to get national attention and urge all those committed intellectuals to come forward and undertake to translate the same into English.

Applications for grant can be mailed to us at namaste@indica.org.in.
