Do you love reading books ? Do you love our civilisational history, heritage and thought ? Are you living in any of the non-metro city or town in India? Do you have space at your home for us ? Do you like to engage with other book lovers in your town ?
We are looking for you:
At IBC, we have embarked upon a mission to establish “100 Mini Libraries” across various non metro cities & towns in India and if you have answered yes to all the questions above then you are our person !
Here is our plan :
Each ‘mini library’ will be situated at the home of a volunteer librarian. To these ‘mini libraries’ we will send a set of 100 books over the next 12 months. These books will be across all genres and domains and curated by Abhinav Agarwal with inputs from other experts.
As a librarian you should :
- Designate a distinct space at your home to store and display the books sent by us,
- Identify a minimum of 10 more book lovers in your city/town together with their email ids and social media profiles,
- Share the books we send on your social media profile and also to the local group identified by you above.
- Actively engage with and encourage the members of the group to reach out, borrow, read and return these books.
- Hold periodic book reading sessions,
- Expand the community of book lovers.
